Hitters Edge Team Updates6/1 The 11U Hitters Edge Tigers won the Diamond Classic in Battle Creek this past weekend. Outscoring their opponents 68-20.
6/15 The 14U Hitters Edge team finished 2nd place at the Hoosier Diamond Classic this past weekend.
6/29 The 11U Hitters Edge Tigers Finished 4th in the State Tournament.
HITTING TIPS
Hitters Edge teaches Rotational Hitting and Linear Hitting. The linear swing will give hitters good contact with moderate power. The linear hitting style involves a weight transfer at footstrike, keeping the barrel of the bat inside the ball, with more extension at contact. The Rotational swing is taught to hitters who see the ball well. This swing relys on starting your hips before your hands, seperation between your shoulders and hips, with your extension starting after contact. This swing is more consistent with a Major League swing.
